Just a short walk from the center of Bologna, L’Ariosto-Villa Manaresi is an ‘ancient villa restored to its splendor by Eng. Franco Manaresi.

Renovation work involved the central body extending to the Casa del Cocchiere and the Casa del Fattore while respecting the original structure, in a dialogue in continuity between the park and the architectural complex.

A unique place welcomes the visitor as soon as he passes through the gate, the ‘suspended atmosphere leads to a distant time, an emotion that at first disorients to give way to the pleasure of a memory that like a treasure chest reveals its treasures. The words of Ovid’s and Tasso’s works become images and tell of dramas and loves that since the 1600s have been observing from above the guests who have passed and will pass under their gaze, inside the drawing rooms of the villa.
